Review on Enhanced APDTY 857412 Door Lock Actuator for Improved Front and Rear Right Locking by Juan Gomez

It sat on my shelf for several months before I decided to install it. Once I did that, the installation was easier than my Accord 03 coupe. I watched a few YouTube videos and got the idea pretty easily. Installation took 20-30 minutes. So it works. but. After 10-20 uses it started making a clicking noise and then after 2-3 weeks it started making a loud grinding noise of the plastic gear (as far as I can describe) when I lock/unlock the car. It works, but it's embarrassing because people look at me when I lock or unlock the car. Not sure how long this will last as it sounds like the plastic is coming loose from the gear inside. I will attach a video of it to get the audio of the sound. Maybe I just got a lemon. I got along without a passenger door lock for 3-4 years, so better than before, but you could do without the noise.
