I've done vinyl before. I made the mistake of using cheap vinyl, after a year it burned through and some of the clear coat peeled off. I've learned my lesson. I bought VViVid and it's a fantastic product. Easy to apply, looks majestic and you can't tell it's vinyl until you get up close and even then it's difficult. Good idea, always buy more than you need and use a few to get a feel for it before you start working on the car. It is very important to have the right tool. I learned things from U-Tube like a pack of 4 magnets (which are used to hold the vinyl in place to make sure you got the right size and that it doesn't move during the overdub). Splitter, a device that allows you to cut paper without damaging the vinyl, rather than tearing off the entire vinyl backing at once. It's better to stay in control if you do it piece by piece, which you can see on U-Tube (time well spent) You're lucky with your project.
