I purchased three brands of 3" x 36" tubing (these, "staples 558448 3" x 36" staples, white mailing tubes, 12/box (11634)" and "Quality Park 46008 White Postal Tubes, 24 L x 2 Ø, White (Box of 25). These are the best for us. (I no longer have any Quality Park tubes, so I can't describe them below.) These tubes (for us) are that the inner size holds a 36" poster very well (37-1/length 16", caps 7/16", inner size 36-1/4". 35-7/8". Another advantage over the Staples tubes is that they are lighter (8.3 oz [292 g] vs. 6.8 oz [241 g]).In our case, this allows us to weigh 1 lb instead of 1 .2 lb. (We put plugs on the ends of the staple tubes.) staples as they are brown instead of white.
