Unlike most other heaters that only heat up to 131 degrees, this one has 3 options: 131, 149 and 167. I never use the 131 setting because it's barely warm. So I don't think any other heater that only goes to 131 will be good enough. I usually use the hottest setting and then sometimes the medium setting when I'm taking my last sips so it doesn't get too hot. While you can place a cold drink on a heating pad, it takes several hours to heat it up. But if you put a warm or hot drink on a heating pad, it's almost perfect. I wish I had 2 so I can keep them in 2 different rooms without moving them 🤣
