Review on CAVN Stroller Rechargeable Operated Oscillating by Yolanda Hardison

Looking for fans for plant housing? Try it!

I purchased two of these fans for use in a humidified orchid aviary. Pros: They work very well in very wet conditions and are great for my needs. This fan is advertised for temporary outdoor use but is not considered weatherproof. And of course I don't dive into the water. The low voltage USB powered and battery (D/C) operation leads me to believe they won't catastrophically short out when exposed to humid conditions, e.g. 4 months of operation in which case, no issues. The batteries last a very long time on the lowest level, but I use them on a power source. The small display is surprisingly informative and helps when troubleshooting systems. It changes color depending on where the fan is getting power from. Blue means "on" with batteries. When it's "on" with batteries and you plug it into a power source, it will flash a pink light with a blue light. stable. (I don't know if that means it's drawing power from the batteries but charging the batteries at the same time?) If there are no batteries because they've been removed and you plug them in, the light will turn red to indicate AC received. Food. When operating on AC power only with no batteries, the "On" light will be pink. When the batteries are low and you plug it in, the red light will flash until fully charged. If I remember correctly, when the batteries are fully charged, it changes from pinkish purple to solid blue. They are very quiet, even at the highest settings. The resilience is impressive. They also don't slide easily. And they fit snugly into the curve of the 1" racks on the wire grids and clamp them in place. I set mine up hanging with zip ties upside down on the wire shelf itself because that's my preferred wind direction. You could probably mount them on grow lights as well. They hesitate that not all have fans of this size. The fan head rotates in almost infinite positions. I don't know what the max cubic airflow would be if you need something specific from an engineering standpoint. Cons: If you want them to work with a timer, there is one caveat: the oscillation function has to be activated manually every time the fan spins. on, with or without batteries. That's the only disappointment so far. If they worked and kept the wobble from the previous operation I would give them 10 stars. They do NOT come with a power plug, only a USB cable, so you need to buy one. Overall I am very satisfied and my orchids are happy. Would I buy again especially if they fix the resetting of the procrastination feature.
