They survived an apartment fire.

I lost everything in a fire a little over 3 years ago. These survived the fire. I had to clean and re-season them, but they're back on track. I lost the accessories that came with it, but the set survived. The effort to get them usable again was minimal, but it was worth it. I hope they last a lifetime and I think they will.
