Review on Optimal Salt and Pepper Shakers Set Featuring Customizable Pour Holes - Premium Dispensers for Enhanced Salt Usage Experience by Chris Cruz

The lid is too easy to remove

Received today, so I'm writing from the first impression. I wouldn't buy them. In the end I would just give up. As advertised, the lid rotates at varying pour speeds, but rotates fairly tightly. Too hard. That wouldn't be a problem if he didn't unscrew the lid at the same time. I can't get any of them into the pouring position without the lid completely detaching itself. Bad design in my opinion. You can unscrew the glass chamber to fill, so I don't see why the lid needs to be removed. (Maybe for easy cleaning?) In fact, they can be disassembled into 3 parts. Lid. Stainless bushing. And a glass cup. To be honest, the lid wouldn't be a problem if it changed its position by turning it clockwise. But it has a hole in it. You need to change it counterclockwise as if you unscrew the cap. what unfortunately. unscrews the lid. The shaker itself is heavy. Not sure if it lives up to the "elegant" description, but it's definitely durable. I'm an average woman, 5ft 6in tall and they seem to be too big for my arms. Something narrower/thinner would be more convenient to use. But that's a minor complaint. 3 stars because of the lid design. These will only be my desktop shakers. Must look for something else for the stove/cooking. I don't want to risk the lid blowing off and spilling 1/4 cup of salt when I only need a teaspoon.

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • boring packaging
