The arch is well made and was easy to assemble

The arch is well made and was easy to assemble. It's now been standing in my garden for about 8 weeks and it looks great. It's everything I hoped for in a garden arch. I'd offer two suggestions for its assembly and placement. As others have noted, the spikes that hold the arch into the ground do not slip easily into the uprights. So once I had assembled the arch, while it was still on its side on the ground I inserted the spikes into the uprights. Then rather than follow the instructions to draw a perfect rectangle on the ground of so many millimeters by so many millimeters, my wife and I simply lifted the arch into place, straightened it a bit, and pressed the spikes into the ground. This to me seemed a far simpler method. All in all, it's a fine product.

Pros
  • 48 inches wide to span larger areas
Cons
  • The arch may be too narrow for some garden paths

Awwww! This is so charming. It is easily assembled and quickly becomes a sturdy arch just right to highlight the entryway to my "Secret Garden" on the north side of our yard. I painted it with Rustoleum 2X wildflower blue paint and it is a charming accent to that garden area. I used rebar pounded into the soil (two on each side) to secure it to the ground just in case our now-and-then high winds arrive. It is sturdy and it looks great. Thanks!
