I bought these for my 5 year old son because he loves ties. I thought it would be easy for him to use them but they are a little fiddly with the zipper. The idea of customizing a tie with a zipper is cool, but not for kids. Well, why I say they are dangerous is that they contract when the narrow end of the tie is pulled on and tucked in at the back to zip up. The scary thing is that if this part of the tie catches on something or is accidentally tightened, the tie will be pulled even tighter around your neck, creating a risk of strangulation. Was definitely not happy with it. One of them broke on the first day therefore they are not very durable. In the end I gave up on her. I'll just stick with clip-on ties.
