I have used it before blending (pancakes, cakes) and to strain pasta. Ultimately, due to the size and nature of the material, I mainly use it for soaking and then rinsing fruits like strawberries. Rinse which I assume follows other various fruits and vegetables. This works very well with the types of fruits and vegetables the skin eats, and the skin is able to easily pick up on surrounding objects, both good and bad. Due to the material and considerations of scratches and durability, cleaning this way is very easy. Apart from a little water, I only occasionally notice seeds, stems and leaves.
