Good choice for thermal imagers

If you need a serious professional tool, I can't help you. I'm having too much fun with my new toy. Tried two others, disappointed. The monocular ($550) was too clunky with a small screen (I gave it to my son-in-law for hunting), and the smartphone plug-in ($750) seemed like a good camera, but the control program lagged like an airplane without fuel. This one works so well I hate giving it up.
