my god, excellent equipment. I am a regular Manfrotto customer and have several of their high performance tripods but have not been able to take them on holiday. Finding something that is not only strong, but light and compact, but at the same time not cheap junk seemed almost impossible to me. Even as a Manfrotto lover, I was sure this would be an inevitable disappointment. I even thought it was a cheap product that Manfrotto just put its name on. Well obviously I was very impressed with what I got. It fits perfectly in a backpack and weighs so little that carrying the camera stressed me out more than a tripod. The quick release worked great and I was able to pack and unpack the tripod very quickly on the go.
