Received this for use with my Wavlink Thunderbolt 3 Dock which required an active Displayport to HDMI output converter, tried a cable that didn't work, then got this one. It's well built and adds some thickness to the back of whatever you plug it into. Works instantly, works great. Promises that you can use an HDMI cable like you normally would with a Displayport connector, and that's exactly what happens. Make sure you get this if you need an ACTIVE converter. If you don't, you can probably end up paying for a cheaper product. If your Displayport to HDMI converters don't seem to be working, try this one before you give up.
