I love Tomtoc. I have several of their cases for different devices and have always been pleased with their clean design and materials used. That being said, I ALWAYS buy licensed Nintendo cases for my Nintendo products. I had 2 license cases for my Classic Switch. The first was more than I liked and the second, although thinner, wasn't the best design in the world. I've been interested in the Tomtoc Switch case for a while (love the raised areas for sticks, buttons and joystick and the thin case) so when I added the Switch Lite to my gaming console I decided to give it a try. I had a few concerns when purchasing the Switch Lite case. First I wanted that it's strong enough so I don't have to worry about putting it in my backpack. Second, I didn't want the lining to transfer ink onto the white buttons and joysticks. Third, I wanted game saves. Finally, I didn't want the case to put too much pressure on the thumbsticks. I also don't like the look and didn't want it to clash with my Switch Lite (the logo definitely looked green to me in the photos and I was a bit concerned about that, but luckily it's actually yellow). This case definitely fits the bill. I like the laconic design. It's thinner than all my Nintendo cases but holds the same amount of games, which is a big plus. It is very light and has a wrist strap. As a side note, although the description says the strap is removable, this is definitely not the case. but, it's not intrusive in my opinion and I don't mind if it can't be removed. I think the best thing about this case by far is the raised areas for the thumbsticks, control panel, and buttons. Not only does it look good when the case is closed, but it also helps prevent pressure on the sticks, which hopefully will help keep the sticks from shifting. The body feels firm and protective. While I don't intend to drop my Switch Lite if it accidentally falls, I don't panic about it breaking. The case holds 8 games, which is quite sufficient. It's an extra Switch for me and most of the games I play on it are digital, but I have a few physical games, that I enjoy playing on it and it's nice to have storage for them. I wish slots were a little deeper, but that's just that I'm picky. I've had the case for a week now and haven't had any dye transfer to any of the console's white surfaces so far so I'm feeling good about it. I just ordered thumb caps and a clear hori case for my switch so hopefully it will still fit in the case. The space seems to be enough and I believe it will work. I'd highly recommend this case for the Switch Lite, and while I haven't tried the Classic Switch, I reckon it's probably just as good. Tomtoc is a great brand and never disappoints! Definitely 5 stars! I'd highly recommend this case for the Switch Lite, and while I haven't tried the Classic Switch, I reckon it's probably just as good.
