It lies flat and has small internal compartments for cards or cash, which is handy to keep things from falling apart in your purse. I'm sure my bridesmaids will love them when I give them to them. =) No quality problems with my order. The pink looked just as I expected. The wallets opened without any problems and stayed closed when I closed them.
