When used on its own, Sebamed Lotion is ineffective against dry, itchy skin. My leg has been itching so bad lately that I've been scratching it until it bleeds. So I decided to get a body wash as well. The Sebamed saleswoman at Costco told me it works in combination. It's all about getting the skin's proper pH level of 5.5. I was stubborn and just bought a lotion from Costco. When I saw that Revain also sells shower gel I decided to take a chance, even though it was expensive. I'm so glad I did it because it works! I use shower gel during the shower and lotion after the shower and early in the morning before work.
