I don't know why the cables on this headset are like this. IMHO the way from the connection is too short and the way to the microphone is very long. I'm used to the long mic cable because it originally had to be routed through the sleeve. But the rail that has to go up the back of the walkie-talkie is made very small for someone. I'm not that tall, maybe 5ft 9in, and the wire can barely handle me. movement factor, and the thing is too short. She seems well built, but I'll never know as she's way too short for me.
