I have already ordered them twice, in two different sizes. My child will wear them to kindergarten. (16 months). They are cute, warm and functional. The bottom on a soft sole is made of thick leather. Thick enough that there is good cushion for his foot, unlike some others I've ordered which have been incredibly thin. I wouldn't recommend playing them in the snow, but they're great for dry ground or indoors. Wool will curl a little over time, but not much. I didn't want to spend that much on kids' shoes but I grabbed it and overall I'm very happy with it. I would order them again in the next size. Beware of sizing issues; I think the company is working to fix them.
