I use this smaller wire brush quite often and keep one right in my desktop tool organizer to keep on hand. They are great for cleaning threads and removing loose rust or crust from anything on the treatment bench. This size is slightly larger than the one I used so a little extra length is welcome. The little tuft of bristles on the back looks interesting, I'm sure I'll find a use for this feature. As a result, I rarely use 10:1 stainless steel brushes with brass and plastic brushes, but they will all be right at home on my desk. At around $2 each, they seem like good enough value for money. This collection will accompany me for several years. I keep a fresh and still straight brush for light jobs like cleaning machine threads and coarse, curved bristles for deep cleaning so I don't have to use a new one every time I have to press on a rusty spot on a tool or something in this way.
