Very nice, strong and very sharp monitor stand mount! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I had trouble fixing my Dell U2710 27 inch monitor. I don't know the exact weight of the monitor, but it should be around 17.02 pounds, and that's with the stand. With. The loop on the Tech Orbits kept spinning forward because it couldn't support the weight. No matter how I try to tighten the noose. I ended up having to improvise (rather embarrassingly) and slip a loose metal screw between the hinge to clamp it/support the monitor and prevent it from rotating forward. It's not obvious and no one can see it unless you look for it, but I know it's there. So yes. My other monitors are 24 inch Dell monitors and the hinges weren't a problem once I tightened them. However, the arms didn't want to stay upright at first and there weren't any real instructions on how to solve that either. I finally figured out that you need to finger tighten some knobs on the levers to improve the pressure and weight resistance. There should probably be more detailed instructions on the box as I feel a less tech savvy person wouldn't be able to figure it out. Overall a great product and looks really nice in my home office. But I may have to go further and find lighter monitors in the future.
