I bought this headset to be mobile around the house while using Skype on my Windows 7 computer. It works very well. The sound is clear. The range is also very good. I can go to other rooms and the kitchen and it doesn't affect the sound. Only when I go into the garage behind the iron door does the sound quality start to deteriorate. Pairing with a PC was quick and easy. I just put the headset into pairing mode, went to the PC's bluetooth menu and selected 'add device'. The PC did the rest. No passwords were required. But after that, no sound came out of the headset. I tried pairing it with my phone and it worked fine. Another try was from my friend's Windows 10 PC and again it worked. So the problem was with my laptop. I searched the internet for an answer and found a solution. Here's what you need to do for Windows 7. Pair as described in the manual. Turn off your headset. Turn it back on, then go to the speaker icon in the bottom right corner of your PC screen, right click on it and choose Playback Devices. A new window will appear listing all playback devices. Select your headset and select "Set as default". Now you have sound. So you can choose any of your playback devices that you want to use at the moment. The charging station is a nice addition. Or you can charge it directly via a USB cable. I give this headset 5 stars for excellent functionality and low price.
