Purchased specifically to keep in the car while driving. I was very impressed with how comfortable they were on a trip last weekend, I wore them for 7 hours during the day. The extra grip was very good, gave me a lot more confidence than just a bare hand that sweats over time. It also protects the inner leather from hand oil/dirt over time so that's a big plus for me too. I bought the gloves one size smaller so the gloves can fit my hand. Very happy with my purchase, cannot recommend them enough for spirited driving. The skin's flat profile gives excellent tactile sensations, after a few minutes almost nothing is felt! After a day of riding, my hands were smeared with some leather paint, which I think is to be expected. This means that the glove does its job and protects the inner workings from hand oil.
