I sit at my desk and listen to music most of the day, often adjusting the volume and many tracks. I have a multimedia keyboard, but a dedicated volume control is much faster and more reliable than keyboard keys. Once you've tried it, it's hard to go back. The fact that it has Back, Play/Pause, Forward, and Mute is just a bonus. The processing of this device is very good. Actually better than expected. The metal body and beveled edges look and feel great. The only place I think it could use some improvement is the potentiometer (the turning mechanism under the volume knob). Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful, but it has that slight wobble that makes me feel like it's 3.5/5 or 4/5 stars. If you've ever shot on high quality audio equipment, you know what I'm talking about. Which brings me to the cost. I feel this price is a bit higher than it deserves. If the pen were better, I would say that it fully justifies its price. It's worth it the way it is just because I can't find anything better. A few other notes worth mentioning: I've used this on Windows 10 and macOS 10.15 with no issues. The non-slip rubber floor is a great idea. And finally, the handle makes a soft click as you turn it. Now that makes sense to me, but for some reason I expected everything to go smoothly. All in all it's a great device and I think you'll be happy with it if that's what you're looking for.
