One of the two I received the threads were off enough that I had a hard time putting it in. When I backed it out to take a look the edge of the threads had actually broken off like it was brittle. I cleaned the female threads up and used the second one with no problems. I didn't return because I only needed one, but was disappointing to have 1 be bad and have to throw it out. I've NEVER seen stainless steel threads chip off like it did.they just broke off.like sheered. Must have been a manufacturing defect of some kind. SS normally just bends or destroys the threads of the steel you are screwing it into, not snap off entirely.
