I am an avid video gamer as I play my PS4 and gaming computer several hours a week. Recently one of my two Sony controllers stopped working so I decided to look for a non-Sony controller to replace it as I didn't want to spend a lot of money if it was just a backup for my still working Sony -Controller. . I came across this PS4 controller version while researching and decided to give it a try. So far I'm very happy with it. To be honest I expected it to be inferior to Sony's OEM controller since it's a lot cheaper, but I actually like it a lot more. This version has pads on the front and back of the grips, making it more comfortable compared to the small plastic grips on the Sony version. I didn't experience any lag when playing different types of games, and I didn't have any connection issues. This version took a while to get used to as the buttons differ a bit differently in terms of how much pressure is required to register them, but it was a relatively quick setup. Battery life is also slightly shorter, but it's not very noticeable. Overall I'm very happy with this controller and will look for another one as a backup in the future.
