This is a cute sweatshirt. It is not big and bulky like most sweatshirts. It's actually sort of cropped--with the bottom seam resting around my waist. I have a short torso though so it could be more of a cropped, tummy-bearing look for longer torsoed folks. The boat neck gives it a unique look, different than typical crew neck sweat shirts. It's warm and comfortable as well. I think to wear it if I want comfort but don't want the shlubby formless look of my other large oversized sweatshirts. It's well made and washes well. I wear it pretty frequently.
