All in all I LOVE YOU!

I bought 2 sets of these units at different times and each received different power controls. The first device was turned on by pressing a button and looking for the front panel, which would flash red, blue, or red and blue to indicate whether you wanted it to be always on or in day/night mode. There is a helpful sticker on the side of each bulb (printed in small so may not be useful to everyone) that tells which bulb color corresponds to which wattage setting. on off or automatic. I liked that better than the button. Until one of the lanterns fell and the slide broke. I don't know where the button cover went, so now I have to use tweezers to turn the light on, off, or auto-on. I use mine in poorly lit, high traffic areas of my home and they clash. You will fall. I haven't broken any, but that lost button is a nuisance. I plan to order more of these but hope to get the button back. Advantages of both kits: easy to install, very bright light, good price, easy to use and easy to charge. Cons: May require frequent charging. . I keep mine daily. Places my cats go, they can go without electricity in about 2 days. They last longer in areas with less traffic, but a week seems like a high average for how long I can go on a single charge. The last thing I will say is that you get more value by placing the light high up. I placed one at the bottom in an area where one of my cats likes to leave surprises in hopes it will help us see before we make a mess, but it doesn't help where I wanted. You really can't direct the light, so it's best to place it high to illuminate a large area, rather than trying to focus on a specific point.

Pros
  • Great for me
