Needed to extend connectivity from USB 3 I use 3 external hard drives and a few flash drives here and there. Mainly for her and to charge my phone and power banks. Android supports the turbo function of the bottom power connector perfectly, and other devices charge faster via the red connector than standard devices on my motherboard. No complaints! The unit is compact and light weight so I would recommend attaching it with Velcro or some other type of fastener as it slides all over the table as everything is plugged in and moved. Meets my needs well at a price lower than some other devices with similar features.
