I think there is a lot of misinformation out there about dead sea salts being good for you. Yes, it makes the skin look beautiful due to its high mineral content, but too much of a good thing is bad. It also feeds pre-existing skin mites on our faces and bodies. Due to the absence of skin flakes, shaving, etc., an increase in humidity and salts leads to an increase in the number of skin mites. Choose pure medicinal grade sulfur and aloe vera instead of sea salt if you want to clean pores or treat skin infections/clogging etc. I also recommend a 2 week dose of metronidazole and ivermectin. Permethrin washes clothes, carpet, scalp and body once a week at first and then once a month to keep these bugs at bay. Because they cause so many skin conditions that we all suffer from if left unchecked. Much luck.
