Use a tongue scraper instead. They basically squirt water on your tongue without doing anything.

My wife bought us a Waterpik Irrigator on Black Friday and since then we have had nothing but good reviews to say about it! I was amazed at how much more effective they are than regular floss and that they actually use tiny jets of water to remove debris from between your teeth. I have known Waterpiks for many years but had no idea how awesome they are until I tried them. After being so impressed with the Irrigator, I guess I had just as high hopes for these tongue cleaners. I have been using a tongue scraper for many years and it is without a doubt the most effective remedy for bad breath - it just works! So after reading a few reviews of these tongue cleaning tips, I was hoping that somehow I could use the combination of cockroaches and these tips in my routine and get the freshest breath. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all. We've had these tips for a few weeks and have only used them twice, and the second use only confirmed our disappointment with the first. Turn the spoon over and run it over your tongue. I figured the stream of water would spread around the spoon and roll onto my tongue, which would help kill the odor-causing bacteria much like it flows between teeth. But when a jet of water hits a spoon, it actually loses all of its power as it spreads, and all you get on your tongue are drops of water flowing fast (although they're not powerful enough to be considered sustainable ). ). . It wasn't as impressive as I had imagined. But did he do more than I thought? After using it, I scratched my tongue several times as usual, and my tongue scraper removed the same amount of bad breath as usual. In other words, Waterpik's tongue cleaning tips didn't really make anything but a little mess on my bathroom counter. I'd say I wasted my money, but I knew it was an experiment, so I guess I'll call it a lesson. I suspect all of the positive reviews for this product are from people who have never used tongue scrapers before and don't realize how incredibly effective this method is. I suspect that when using these expensive attachments they feel like water is dripping onto their tongue so they must feel like they are doing something to help, I really don't know. But the end result is, as much as I hoped, it just didn't work. My advice if you're struggling with bad breath? Ditch the Waterpik tips and buy a tongue scraper instead - inexpensive plastic tips work just as well as expensive stainless steel tips. I've been using them effectively for many years - twice a day with regular brushing. I don't think you will be disappointed.
