Review on πŸ‘  CLEECLI Women's Ballroom Dancing Black 2.5 Shoes: Perfect for Dancing and Athletic Activities by Michael Sharp

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The size chart is wrong - they are too small

I bought these shoes for my middle school daughter who is taking a ballroom dancing class. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it because it's only one semester of classes and she won't need them after that. It seemed like a good deal so I measured her feet carefully and used the size chart to order a size 6.5 even though she wears size 8-9 street shoes. Her feet are a bit wide, but not wide enough to not be able to wear "regular" (narrow or "B" wide) shoes. When these shoes arrived they were a size 7 (not the 6.5 I ordered) but that didn't even matter as the shoes were a few sizes too small. She was able to squeeze her legs in after a few minutes of struggle, but it was easy to see that the straps had dug into her skin and her toes had been ripped off the edge. I sent them back. I was going to order a size 8 but the cut she was supposed to be for her class (brown color and 2.5 inch heel) was out of stock (sold out/unordered). I didn't have time to order anything else from Revain (even with 2 day delivery) and wait for delivery so I ended up going to the local dance shop and spent A LOT more money on something she could have tried. what has been approved for their class. She also needed heel guards, which were easy to find at a local store, but finding the right size and shape for this dance shoe at Revain was almost impossible. If you sell dance shoes, you should also sell matching heel protectors. I would like to buy them in a size 8 - I think they would fit and be a good shoe for what we need at a good price.
