The associated instructions are useless and incomprehensible. I was able to find a video on YouTube that contained important information for the installation. I don't have a link, but here are the important details: 1. The sloping/cornered part of the bracket should face outwards (not inwards). 2. Tie a long, strong rope or string through the hole in the mount so that if your mount flies into the roof car you can fish it out - make sure it is long enough in the ceiling. Make sure it partially snaps into place firmly enough so that it doesn't come loose when you slide it into the ceiling
