Ordered this filter twice and got original Dirt Devil filters. for my classic hand vacuum cleaner. I don't know what happened to the customer who received the Crucial filter. According to the description of this filter, it can be washed. I have a Bissell vertical filter in which I have used washable filters and they have worked well. You just need to let it dry for about 2 full days before using it again.
