Great set for beginners. For the price of the stones you also get a mount which I think is essential. I haven't used chisels yet; they will come in handy when I carve my yang seals. The sandpaper is great. The only negative are the stickers - I have no idea what they are for. A tip: get a carbide marker (less than $5 at Revain). The Ritz cuts through the soapstone like butter, allowing for precise contouring. LED lighted headband magnifying headphones (under $20 at Revain) were a must for my old eyes. The choice of carbon paper also allows you to transfer your writing onto stone. There are free print translators on the internet; You just need google translate to get modern chinese first. Please note that some of the stones were slightly dented around the edges; something like "talc bruise”. It can be sanded down if you're picky.
