These are 13 gallon bags, the right size for a small kitchen bin. In our area, we separate trash so only light items like vegetable or meat scraps end up in this dedicated bin. Nothing heavy that would cause a tear. For this type of use we found these bags to be more than adequate, although a bit of scent would have been nice. Well, they're odorless bags, but that's not the mayor's problem. The tip is tight and tight. Nice garbage bags for the kitchen.
