All you have to do is turn it and it flies! I love how we get a lot so we can keep using it until it runs out. However, it is quite large, only 2-3 fit on one card. If you're making a box, make sure it's big enough, about 6 inches by 6 inches. The trick to making it fly high is to spin it until you can't stand it anymore. However, you need to know when to stop or the strips will break. Several were torn in the box, probably due to the tension of the twists of the rubber bands. Make sure your card/box is tight or you'll hear it unraveling inside. Happy with my purchase so far, thanks!
