I have typical dark, coarse, Caucasian body hair. It had absolutely no effect on my armpits, bikini line, legs, etc. I've tried different temperatures, more wax, less wax, left it on for ages, etc. It might have pulled out a few hairs and then left my skin red. It worked in one area (barely) and it removed light peach fuzz in areas where the hair is much thinner and thicker. Even then it took maybe 80% and that allowed it to get quite hard and then the wax was used to cover it. But then again, I didn't buy a wax removal kit to get rid of my peach fuzz. The only type of wax that worked for me was the one you take off the hard way, or professionally of course. I would buy with caution and low expectations. I might use it on my husband as he usually has finer hair.
