Adhesive strips are terrible

We ran out of our regular baby placemats and couldn't reorder, so had to buy this one instead. Our old ones are 5 adhesive strips top to bottom in a line, and they are very sticky. Baby cannot pull them off. These are just 4 strips around the border, and they aren't even sticky enough to hold the placemat itself. If you try to reposition as well, the strips stay on the table and it is very annoying to use. Even pulling the protective strip off the adhesive will pull the adhesive off the placemat. Try a different brand.
