* To see how this microphone system performs in various microphone tests, e.g. B. in noisy environments, distances and behind objects, please see my attached video report * I am a karaoke DJ. I have used this microphone system at several karaoke events where I DJed. I was very impressed with this microphone system right from the start. First, the build quality of this microphone is excellent. Much of the microphone's outer casing looks like it's made out of metal. Some people at my events get drunk, so there's a good chance the microphones will fall off. This mic seems to be able to withstand falls, which is a big plus. Using this system at the events I have worked with, this microphone system has performed admirably. I had no dips or pops in the mic's sound. Every mic sounded great. A disadvantage of this system is that both microphones look the same. When trying to adjust the volume when people were singing too loud into each mic, I had a hard time telling which mic was which because the mics looked the same. I felt like I had to guess which volume control to turn down. However, this problem is easily solved by simply sticking colored tape or something else on each microphone to distinguish one microphone from another. In terms of vocal isolation, this mic performed well. Watch my mic test in the attached video to see how this mic isolates my voice next to a noisy freeway. from the receiver that you can see in the attached video, I tested this microphone behind trees at different distances. In my distance test of the mic, which you can see in the attached video, this mic experienced erratic clicks and dropped over 180 feet when testing its line of sight in a grassy field. Below 180 feet, there may also be clicking noise in the microphone audio. Overall, I would recommend this microphone system for close-range events. I think this mic sounded great and the build quality is excellent which is a must if you plan to host events where drunk people are using your mics where dropping the mic is inevitable. I have used many microphones. This is definitely one of the best budget microphone systems out there. If you host karaoke events like me then yes this is a great mic. I have more expensive microphones that I could use. If you plan on working with drunk people, why risk using expensive mics that cost hundreds of dollars when you can still get good sound for a lot less with a rugged mic. I literally had one drunk person before I intentionally dropped one of my Shure mics (which are part of a mic system that cost hundreds of dollars) on the floor after singing karaoke. However, for events where you need a long-range microphone that can deliver reliable audio signals hundreds of feet away from the receiver, I wouldn't recommend this microphone system. For melee combat I will definitely use this system again. It's also so easy to use and set up!
