The free version is quite limited, but it's good enough for most people who don't want to pay more money or risk their website being banned by Google because they're using something like this - I haven't had any problems so far! If you do use shortlinks as part your SEO strategy then there are plenty other tools out here that will achieve similar results without having to spend extra cash. It allows me to create shorter links in my articles which saves time & space when writing them (and therefore doesn't waste precious words).
