Don't knock 'til you try

For the average adult who works at the computer all day and spends their free time gaming, having something comfortable to support the wrist is very important. When I saw this wrist rest, I was skeptical. Compared to all the memory foam, spheres, and liquid gel palm rests, this soft plastic doesn't seem to offer better comfort. When I tried, oh my god, I was wrong. Now it is important to remember that this shape does not fit all wrists and is only suitable for right-handed people. Maybe they should also come with a left-handed version. With my (I think) medium-sized hand, my wrist that lands on the palm rest is about 3 1/2 inches wide. It fits comfortably on top of the rest with some room. Another thing that makes this wrist rest stand out from the rest is the fact that it should move with the mouse. With 4 small smooth dots on the bottom, I have no problem sliding it over my mouse pad or right over my desk. It helps me a lot as I can no longer just rely on my wrist to move the mouse, but can use all the muscles in my arm and shoulder to make faster movements. It takes a while to get used to, and the only problem I've seen when I start typing with both hands and go back to the mouse is that I kind of have to unconsciously find and align where the Palm rest is when I put my hand down. Overall I would say if you are looking for something different give it a try! The worst thing you can do is return it or give it to someone in your family or friends who might end up liking it.
