Easy to install in retrofit ceilings. Installs directly into drywall or other 1/2" to 1" thick ceiling material. There are no ceiling joists to place, the fixture installs in a 1/2" thick ceiling. The junction box requires additional space. The location of the world. I mostly find on the floor and use the laser after installing the ceiling. One story lofts are not a problem when available.I have used over 100 of these lights and about 2 drivers have failed.
