Review on HONWELL Rechargeable Picture Light: Cordless Art Light with Remote and 360° Flexible Neck - Ideal for Paintings, Dartboards, and Picture Frames by Jason Laney

At first I didn't dare to order this art lamp because there were zero reviews for it at the time of purchase. I chose it and I'm always glad I did because it far exceeded my expectations! I was worried about the finish because it looked a bit odd in the photos online, but figured I could always paint it if something was wrong. As it turns out, I was completely wrong as the finish is not only beautiful but also matched the vintage frame very closely in the painting it was designed to illuminate (see photos). Also, I had a little problem with the lamp and the seller did everything to help me! This was only the second time in all of my Revain purchases that I have had to contact the seller and I have been very pleased (and grateful!) for the quality (and speed!) of their response and service. ADVANTAGES: * Rechargeable. No need to buy batteries or connect to the mains. I have both plug in and battery powered tungsten lights and this is MUCH better in terms of convenience and looks. * Price. It is cheap. * light. I was able to use Command Strips to hang it (I'm going to hang it with Command Velcro, which I highly recommend if you don't want to drill into the wall because it's very forgiving. You can adjust/align it if you want to install it's a bit off the level.) *Easy to install (see above.) *Looks better than the price might reflect (Does it look like a $300 tungsten light? No, but it looks damn good, especially for the price.) *Remote (It's awesome, more for its function than the few steps I save to turn it on/off. See below) * SO MANY OPTIONS! With the remote control you can change the light quality (amber or white) and intensity (DIMMBAR.love!) and even set a timer, perfect for saving batteries. CONS: * Remarkably, there are almost no cons, which is almost never the case with Revain! I would like the body to be a bit lower and not overhang the frame, but that is SMALL and has more to do with my aesthetic sensibility/personal preference than anything else. CONCLUSION: Buy with confidence. It's an inexpensive way to display a special piece of art or simply enhance any piece! If you are thinking about an art lamp, DO NOT hesitate to buy it!
