We moved my son at the age of 3 from a children's bed to a "big" bed. so scared and was able to find my way to the bathroom by myself. But I wasn't keen on a regular night light that stayed on all the time because I don't sleep that well with the lights on and I was concerned it wouldn't sleep as well in a room with the lights on. This giraffe turned out to be perfect for many reasons. He found it adorable and immediately wanted to cuddle his "little night giraffe”. He also liked to take it with him into the bathroom so that he always had light. I like that it turns itself off after 15 minutes so it doesn't smack him in the face all night while he's falling asleep (since he usually holds it right in front of his face before falling asleep). He also likes that he can turn it on or off whenever he wants. I put a small foam sticker on the button to make it easier to find in the dark. It charges easily. The wireless charging pad is great because it doesn't rip the cable out of the wall when he runs to grab it. I turn off the charging pad when I'm not using it. All in all, this night light exceeded my expectations and I'm very glad we found it. This made it much easier to get out of bed.
