They were expensive. I found it a great idea to store hunting items like coats, woolen socks, hats and out of season clothing or blankets. Compact space saving attracted me. The first one I used seemed to work perfectly, but the next day air leaked and the bag was no longer compact. I suspect an operating error and sucked out the air again and checked the seal again. I heard the air come out like a whistle. Suppose this bag was damaged in some way, so I tried bag number 2, same thing. For the money they are not worth it. It's just a big zippered bag. I haven't tried the ones that came with it again as I assume they are either defective or of poor quality. For your information. My husband also helped because he thought I somehow made a mistake. I would not buy again.
