Maybe TOO hot

A few months ago we installed a shower toilet in our master bedroom. The bidet works perfectly, but what really spoiled us was the heated seats. So much so that we somehow avoided using the regular toilet seat in the shared bathroom at our home. We didn't want to complicate the bidet for visitors, so we decided to give this one a try, only with a heated one. Installation is very easy except there was no conveniently located electrical outlet like in our master bathroom. There's an outlet on the opposite wall above the vanity, so I plugged it in and ran a line under the sink to the side closest to the toilet. In case of a leak I used flexible waterproof pipe and waterproof junction and outlet boxes. I also made sure to route the plumbing above the water and drain lines. (For easier access, I removed the cabinet doors while I was working.) Once connected, the seat works almost as expected. The light isn't needed, so we just turned it off. We set the in-seat heater low and even then it gets pretty damn warm even though it's winter. I don't know what it will look like at medium or high level. A slight downside is that while there's plenty of heat on the low setting, it's distributed unevenly across the seat. As a result, certain areas of the seat โ€“ the inner and outer edges โ€“ are comparatively cool when you first sit down.
