I had an old model of this straightener that is no longer made (it lasted that long). I bought another brand from Amazon which was terrible and returned it the next day. Eventually I did some research and found this. It's amazing and doesn't pull hair. It heats up in about a minute or less, and you can change the temperature so you don't fry your hair. The buttons are in a good spot so they don't get in the way or accidentally turn off. Works well for curling or straightening. I have very long hair, it's not thick but there's a lot of it, for reference.
