Review on Bilstein 24 158428 Monotube Steering Damper by James Mayfield

Excellent stabilizer at a very reasonable price. I'm usually a Fox fan, but didn't want to invest that much in a stabilizer. If we're talking about performance hits, then sure, Fox all day. I have gone to Bilstein in the past and they make great, high quality products. NASCAR Truck Racing trusts them and so do I. Helped smooth the steering on our 2016 4-door JK with 4" lift and 35" wheels. It centers the steering well and helps deal with oversized tires. I've had it for 2 months now and everything is fine. It took me half an hour and a bit of effort to remove the Mopar factory plastic damper. This baby was installed using the original factory brackets and hardware. All good reviews on the internet about this steering stabilizer are true. 5 stars all day! I feel much safer and more comfortable on the road after adding this part to my JK.
