I like the overall look and functionality of this backpack but I have two problems with it. The first and most important is the clasp, designed to keep the animal inside. My little cat was able to tear it off. I had a window open and thank god the cat and van were in my car when he got out. It's so thin I can't even find where to put it. Apparently it was glued, not sewn. My second issue is that while there is a chest strap to keep the pack from drifting away from your body, I would like it to have a waist strap so the weight can be carried more on the hips than the shoulders. . I ended up returning it because the description showed it expanded at the back to look like a small house and what arrived was not expanded.
