Review on Dell 15 7590 with Intel Core i7 9750H Processor and a Bright 400 Nits Display by Mateusz Kot ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

A laptop for those who want to use a laptop like a laptop (not from the network), while not infringing on themselves with a lack of performance. For those who prefer to use the laptop outdoors: a bright screen, a large battery and the ability to charge it from a power bank with Power Delivery support via type-C. For toys, it is better to assemble a desktop computer or, in extreme cases, buy a gaming laptop, which, like the stationary one, will be at home and powered by the network (there is already experience).

Pros
  • Screen: Very bright (500nits), good color reproduction (100% sRGB). Full HD resolution is more than enough for 15.6 inches. I didn’t notice the PWM (although they write that it is at 0-20% brightness, but the flicker of 1000Hz is not noticeable in this brightness range) Assembly and materials: the lid hinge is rather tight, not even familiar, the test for a MacBook does not pass :) The bottom and top covers are made of thick aluminum (almost 2mm), there is no hint of sagging. The keyboard also does not flex, being made of carbon fiber. Noise: coolers are not audible at all when the laptop is running (I have not tried it in games). battery: up to 60% brightness and balanced mode lasts 8 hours (when running on integrated graphics) I can also note an excellent touchpad and good sound. The presence of a full-fledged Thunderbolt 3 (4 PCI lanes). 2 year warranty from the manufacturer. A lot of interesting software from DELL
Cons
  • Screen response is not the fastest (not suitable for gamers). The main thing is that it is no worse than the MacBook Pro. The lid does not open more than 130 degrees. Performance: the combination of i5 9300H and GTX1650 is very good, but if we take the price-performance ratio, then in this aspect the laptop strongly drains its "gaming" counterparts from the same DELL company (i7 9750H + RTX2060 for the same money). Price: more than 110,000 for such a config is certainly a little expensive. Very big overpayment for win 10 pro (in my case).
